- Q. I see people with cool names after their nick like fbi.gov. How can I get one?
- A. Those are called virtual host or vhost. You can get them here.

- Q. Will people see my ip address if I do not use a vhost?
- A. No, we have it set to hide by default.

- Q. I wanted to join a channel and it said invite only. How do I join?
- A. You have to be invited. If you know somebody who is in the channel, PM and request an invitation.

- Q. Do you log private conversations of users? Channels? Or use invisible module to lurk in channels?
- A. No we do not.

- Q. When I join your irc network, I notice my ports are being scanned? Is this done deliberately? Am I under attack? Is this the end of the world?
- A. Every time you connect to irc, our proxy scanner scans you briefly to rule out you're a bot. This is rather normal but completely harmless. Don't lose your sleep over it. "Don't panic."

- Q. How do I see all of the channels that you have on your network?
- A. You type the command /list if it is not a private or secret channel you will see them.

- Q. I know that blahblah group has a channel on your network, why can't I see them?
- A. They have their channel mode set to private or secret. No the operators will not tell you if they are on or their channel is there.

- Q. I want to change my password what is the command?
- A. /msg nickserv set password newpasswordhere

- Q. My IRC client automatic logs me in and I forget my password. How can I find it?
- A. /msg NickServ GETPASS nick

- A. No we will not.

- A. Janus is a server that allows IRC networks to share certain channels to other linked networks without needing to share all channels.

- Q. Can I link my server with your servers?
- A. No. We appreciate you wanting to help out but we have more than enough resources for IRC.

- A. Sorry we do not do this. You can run a relay bot or use janus.

- Q. Can I be IRC oper/admin?
- A. No. Again we appreciate you wanting to help out but at this time we are not looking.

- Q. I was glined/banned from your network and I am not sure why. How can I return?
- A. It maybe a mistake due to the filters. You can ask a friend to contact BSDGurl or EmErgE to look into it, or change your ip and try to rejoin and talk to us direct. You may have been banned because you deserve it. If that is the case, wait for it to expire.
